This was a first for me at Thornton but one the feeder at the Reservoir on Saturday. Nothing else of note other than good numbers of Goldcrest and large groups of Redwing presumably getting ready to head off. It appears that Cornwall is the place to be at the moment with Gyr Falcon, Spotted Sandpiper, Dusky Warbler, Yellow Browed Warbler, Hoopoe and the 'Central Asian' Lesser Whitethroat !! Quite a haul for February.
No mothing this weekend but I hope to have the MV operational next weekend, depending upon the weather.
