Blacksmiths Field

Just back from lunch at a visit to the aforementioned. Nice little site. Linnets abound and a cracking pair of Green Woodpeckers. First Willow Warblers of the year also. On the leps front, 2 Peacock, Large White and the first Holly Blue of 2007. A couple of tortricidae eluded me as I was net-less !! Will certainly pay a few more visits over the summer, by which time the dog shite and multitude of used condoms may have bio-degraded.........
