Trap Results 14/04/07

Saturday night was really good. There are two species that have increased in Leicestershire over the last 10 years or so. Pale Pinion and Red Green Carpet and both were new to me over the weekend. The other newbie was the Pyralid Scoparia ambigualis. Other occupants included Brindled Beauty, Waved Umber and the usual Orthosia including a Powdered. Most odd was a very tatty Lime Hawk Moth, which turns out to be the earliest ever county record by a week !!
