Sadly not. Apparently 20 very early doors on Sunday but 2 most of the day on Sunday sat in a silver birch not feeding. Bushes stripped. Suspect todays Leicester birds are part of the same flock, which were probably the Loughborough ones originally, and so on.........

Some had rings so could have been the ones we rung at braunstone. At least more have rings now. No waxwings were rung in the uk in 2007, 2006 , but 800 were rung in the last invasion year of 2005. Charnwood R.G have done 21 this year, 2009. Great to get a thornton tick and also ring 11 of them.
